This is an interesting interview with one of the creators of a video game that basically failed due to memory management issues.
My computer science class is working with memory management lately. It was a lot to wrap my mind around at first, but things started clicking after lots of practice. Things can go very wrong very fast when you’re handling memory and this is a good cautionary tale. Also unfortunate because the whole issue could have been avoided if they’d waited a few years for technology to catch up.
