I love living here.
I’m so over Winter.
I was never a Summer person at all but living in the Pacific Northwest is starting to change my tune. There are only so many cold, gray and rainy days I can take.
I need eating-saltwater-taffy-while-browsing-books-within-walking-distance-from-the-sand weather ASAP.
I fancy myself a bit of a gardener despite my lackluster track record for keeping plants alive. Last year, I bought a jewelers loupe for plant monitoring and wound up getting carried away with microscopic everything.
From top left to bottom right: grass, lavender plant, wood, leaf, pencil tip, and growing strawberry.
The loupe costs less than $10. I recommend getting one for fun if you’re fascinated by magnified things. Or easily entertained in general 🙂
I’m a big fan and supporter of music education. Music does wonders for kids’ confidence, discipline, and talents. It’s truly amazing seeing kids start as beginners in 4th or 5th grade then watching them grow into amazing musicians. Don’t even get me started on marching bands! They’re the best thing ever.
This is an older photo of my kitty from this post: Photo of the Day: This Sassy Gal
In the past almost 4 years, she’s grown to love me. She has a naturally untrusting personality, which still pops up from to time to time, but she’s also realized I have the toys and treats.
